Bonita Springs, FL, January 9, 2007 - Lorianne Cabrera, an elementary school teacher at Roosevelt Elementary, is one of 25 recipients of the Airborne® Teacher Trust Fund™ (ATTF) grant. The grant, created by Airborne, Inc., makers of the popular immune-boosting herbal health formula, is designed to help elementary and middle school teachers implement art and music programs in their schools.

Cabrera received a $4,070 grant to implement "Music Family Fun Night", a monthly music program. The program allows students to explore music, learn how music relates to the other arts as well as other subjects and to teach their parents what they learn in music class.

"Music Family Fun Night allows children to explore music beyond the limits of the classroom," says Lorianne. "As an educator I must show children the diverse paths that lie ahead for them, not kill interest that may just be awakening, this program is the building block to the paths."

Donahue said that the Airborne® Teacher Trust Fund™ is beginning with an investment of $250,000. Grants ranging from $200 to $10,000 will be awarded to teachers to implement programs during the 2006-2007 school year.

The grants will be awarded on a quarterly basis, however all applications will be kept on file for consideration until April 2007. Programs are evaluated based on need, projected impact to students, educational program elements and, of course, the teacher's desire and passion to succeed.
